French conductor Lionel Bringuier leads the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in a program comprising two concert-hall favorites first performed in Paris: Igor Stravinsky's sensuous The Firebird and Maurice Ravel's jazz-inspired Piano Concerto in G. Also planned: The cheeky, atmospheric Symphony No. 4 by composer Sergei Prokofiev, who was based in Paris at the time. French pianist Lise de la Salle, "a talent in a million" (Gramophone), makes her ASO debut.
